Weekend Trip (Open)

Claudia was glad to not have to worry about assignments this weekend. She just wanted some time away from teachers and homework/classwork. She had woken up and almost got dressed in her robes but decided to wear her normal clothes to Hogsmeade.

She sat on a bench and pulled her bag close to her. She had bought a couple things and had stored all of her stuff in her bag. She loved the way the air felt around her. She took in her surroundings. People were passing by her, talking and laughing coming from nearby shops, and the sounds of birds flying over head. She breathed in the air and sat loving beautiful the world around her was.

Irene had finally managed to tear herself away from her books and researching to go to Hogsmeade this fine weekend.  The air was pleasantly cool, and moist enough that it was not uncomfortable, yet not too humid or damp.  She was looking for Avery, the third year who'd invited Irene to go to Honeydukes with her.  She’d not seen Avery leave, and wasn’t certain if she would come after the dibocle in the Arcade with that Slytherin Carpenter.  Whatever.  Irene blinked a couple times and scanned the street.  Wizards were laughing and strolling around, buying things and just looking around.  

Irene spotted that Gyrffindor girl, the one who liked to dance in her free time, Claudette?  Something like that.  The other girl was sitting on a bench and looked like she was enjoying the morning.  It was rather early, Irene supposed, and anyone who was up now besides her had to be worth knowing.  On second thought, Irene didn't think that Avery would be here yet, and she decided to go back to the main square in a half an hour.  Irene walked over to Evans.  She couldn't quite remember her first name, but her last stuck in her brain firmly.  It was Lily Evans's maiden name, who had been the famed Harry Potter's mother.  Irene assumed that if Evans was a descendant of Lily’s family, then it would be on her father’s side.  It was a well-known fact, or at least she thought so, that Evans was half-veela on her mother’s side.  

Irene walked over to Evans.  She smiled at her and said, “Hi, erm, Claudette, was it?  Claudia?  Sorry, I’m not very good with names.” She blushed.  “So, what brings you to Hogsmeade so early?  Doing a little shopping?” Irene sat down next to Evans on the bench, far enough away for the other girl to be comfortable with her but still next to her.

She saw a girl approching her. Irene was her name. She returned the smile. She laughed. "Claudia is my name. It is alright many people confuse my name." She looked around. "I love getting up early anyway so i decided to come down and buy a few things and enjoy being away from school. What brings you here so early?" She was glad to have company. She hoped that more students would come too. She hated being around strangers.

(Just as a side note, students cannot leave Hogwarts unless I announce a trip, though I'll leave this topic be since it reminded be to open up a trip for this upcoming weekend, so you can just pretend you started this topic on friday or something along those lines!)
