A Chilly Hogsmeade Weekend [Open!]

Timothy followed Claudia, nearly missing her microexpression of surprise as she started walking. What could that be about? A rock in her shoe? But she wasn't limping. Could she have injured her leg earlier? Possibly, he'd have to keep an eye. They trooped over to the Three Broomsticks; it was crowded, but looked otherwise warm, bright, and inviting. He held the door for Claudia and Jett, that was just polite.

Claudia smiled at Timothy as he opened the door for her. "Thank you so much." She noticed it was crowded but she didn't mind she was used to crowds and she really just wanted a nice warm drink and now she had nice company to share it with. It was kind of toasty in the Building so she removed her coat and held in her hand.

"Shall we order some drinks?", she said while looking over at Timothy and Jett.

Warmth and cheery light washed over Jett as he stepped into the Three Broomsticks after Claudia. His smile reemerged as he took in the sight of so many people crowded together and enjoying themselves. It was loud and stuffy in the cafe but not unpleasant. Right away he noticed, again, a girl or two stare his way and he gave them welcoming nod.

He pulled his scarf off of his neck and removed his coat before taking a seat in between Timothy and Claudia. They were seated close together in the full room which was better to hear each other, anyway. Jett turned his green eyes to Claudia as she spoke and agreed. "I'll go get us something, you stay put." He pushed himself out of his chair and walked over to the bar, ready to order three drinks.

A moment later her returned, hands full with three butterbeers. He gently placed one in front of each of his companions before being seated. "I hope you like these, the woman at the counter said they were popular."

Claudia smiled a hugh smile. She had always loved butterbeer. She didn't know why but it just tasted good to her and she got one every chance she got. "I don't just like them, I love them."

She took a sip of it before sighing. It had been a while since she last had one and she loved how the liquid flowed down her throat. "Have you had one before?" She looked over at Timothy then over at Jett. Even sitting down they slightly towered over her. She sat up a little more to add some height to herself and enjoyed her drink.

"Thanks, mate." Timothy sipped his butterbeer. "You've never had one before?" He glanced at Claudia as she sat straighter, only gaining a couple centimetres in height. Should he slouch to make her feel better? That would make Jett tallest, and Timothy did want Jett to like him. Putting Jett in a relative, symbolic, and subconscious position of power might make the boy like Timothy more. He pulled of his scarf, slouching nearly imperceptibly so as his hands drew their attention should they choose to look.

Jett sipped the warm beverage as the other two thanked him. The sweet golden liquid flowed easily over his tongue and down his throat. He felt instantly warmer as it hit his stomach, it was a satisfying feeling. The taste itself was a little too sweet for his liking but it was bearable if everyone else loved it so much.

"No, this is my first try. This is my first visit to Hogsmeade, in fact. Claudia here has been playing tour guide for me all day." He gave her a bright smile and a little wink of camaraderie. It was great to sit between fellow classmates and enjoy a drink. He had worried that he was having much more trouble making friends at Hogwarts than he should have. By now he figured he would have had the whole school smiling at him as he walked around. This would do for now, though.

Jett didn't appear to love butterbeer.
"Lucky you, having a tour guide." Timothy grinned. "Someone to show you the best shops in town and all, keep you from getting lost..." Though it was rather hard to get lost in a town as small as Hogsmeade.

Claudia finished taking a few sips from her glass and looked over to Jett noticing that he didn't seem to be enjoying his butterbeer. She then looked over at Timothy and noticed that he slouched a little. She giggled put continued to sip on her Butterbeer. She was really enjoying their company.

Claudia giggled at something, perhaps his comment about not getting lost. Timothy supposed it could be taken as a joke, even though he hadn't specifically meant it to be...
"Been having a nice time, then?" He sipped at his butterbeer. There wasn't really much to talk about...
