Characteristics:PERSONALITY: Similar to Misty, Shadow rarely feels the need to speak when in public. He is rarely in the centre of happenings or interaction, preferring to stand aside and observe silently. Usually the one to follow after Delano and try and keep trouble to a minimum. Yet due to his gentler nature, he often gets pushed around by his brother. His personality is more along the lines of quiet and calm rather than strict. Shadow is a bit melancholic, thus his wonderful ability to adapt to Misty and her empathy. He is quite attached to his younger sister and has a strong need to protect her. As a melancholic, he is a thoughtful ponderer, often very considerate and gets rather worried when he cannot be on time for events. Shadow is highly creative in activities such as poetry and art - and can become occupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. But he is not a perfectionist and, though self-reliant and independent, he never gets so involved in what he is doing so as to forget to think of others. Misty, of course, is one of his higher concerns.

DISLIKES: Being late, offending anyone, seeing anyone in pain
FEARS: His fear is a natural response to seeing someone hurt, making him worry about his own family. He does not exactly fear, but is slightly unnerved by thunder.
HISTORY:As it is with every child of the Grace clan, Shadow bears a curse that is his name. He was born to the shadow and is forced to live within its borders - though each vampire is able to spend a couple of hours outside during the day before they suffer any serious damage, Shadow can only step out into the sun for a limited number of minutes. However, unlike other vampires, he is able to shadow-cross swiftly and painlessly, the process being completely natural to him - Shadow was never taught how to shadow-cross - he could simply do it.
Shadow was originally attending Beauxbatrons, but transferred to Hogwarts shortly after Mystery, and he was sorted into Hufflepuff.
Shadow always, always stays by Misty's side, communicating with her telepathically and thus helping her state of mind and emotions she is receiving. He hasn't the ability to fully share her experiences, but is well practised in vampiric meditations. She is probably the only person in the world he truly loves, but if Shadow was to fall in love he would love purely and honestly. He is strong and supportive, kind and calm. When the need rises, he fights for those he cares about and to accomplish some goal - though it would be difficult, he would probably stand against his Father and brother, in order to keep peace between the families, within the vampire clan, and finally for the good of society.
