He did not say anything to confirm or deny Madison's statement, but he finally had to say something to break the calming silence. "Tell me what question do you have, lingering in your thoughts, wanting to break free, but afraid, or can't do so."

Madison was staring off into space thoughtfully, as though wondering if she had let her guard down by accident. Finally she brushed the thought aside, "What are you talking about?"

"Maddy," he said turning to her, his arms cross. "You did not call me down here to trade woah was me stories. What is it you called me for?" Now he was getting to his old self, or rather Leo's self, mix with a dash of Aidan, manipulative, comanding, forth right.

"I needed someone to talk to." She said defensively, "I know I look all calm and sophisticated and all, but I absolutely hate having everyone on my back. I thought you would be easy to talk to." She didn't offer any eye contact as she said this, as she was once again staring at the river.

He laughed, a hearty boyish laughed, his arms still cross. His voice carried over the roaring river to the trees and forest beyond. He had no reason to laugh but he found it funny all the same.

She gave an irritated look his way, having nothing else to say. The obnoxious way he laughed reminded her far too much of her annoying childhood friend. In fact, the look she was giving Aidan was the exact priceless expression she had always shot at her friend.

His laughter died with the fading light given off by the setting sun, setting the sky on fire, with its hues of reds, oranges and yellows. "You don't find me a man of mystery? Dangerous to trust? Cut throat or even deadly like your other order members do?" He ignored her glare as he watch the sky turn from reds and oranges to dark blues and violates.

"You don't think the Order Members think the same of me?" She countered, rather than say anything in her defense. She didn't want to admit she simply trusted her instincts. She found that to be a stupid reason.

He took a few steps into the water, it growing higher and higher until it was up to his knees. His robes soaking up the flow of it, his shoes would have squeaked if he was not in the moving water. He turn back to Madison setting on the rocks, his face unreadible. "I have obligations, their is no time to lean on anyone."

"Sounds lonely." She said quietly. It was hardly Madison's place to speak of solitude, when she herself made no attempt to fix her own situation.

He thought for a minute, than shook his head. "Not lonely, just busy." Since he join the order, not a day goes by he is working on some project or another. If it came from Michelle or his other employer it kept him busy.

An Owl came zooming down from the trees above dropping the Daily prophet on Madison's lap as the bird zoomed away. "What is..?" he asked as he got closer to see what Madison was reading, and why the bird came all the way out here to deliver it. "Waht does it say?"

Madison was lightly surprised to be getting a copy of the newspaper, as she had canceled her subscription on it, but she started reading nonetheless. Her calm gaze turned to a look of disgust as she passed it to him, "The Daily Prophet's looking for any excuse to pin something on me these days." She hissed.

He scaned the newspaper as well coming across adds for hair growth potions, and other useless things, something about the Minster becoming lazy, and than about Hogwarts, if it is safe or not? He moved his eyes across the page, but ahowed no emotion when he was done

Madison delicately crossed her legs and looked past Aidan, her gaze staring off into the forest. "Do you think the next Order meeting will be just as chaotic as the last?" She was looking for a change of topic since he was polite enough not to talk about the newspaper.

"Yes," he said simply. He was getting close to the person who leaked out the information to the Dark wizards overseas, in America. That was one of his few reasons why he was assign to the post. "If it was anything like last time, than nothing will get anything productive done."

"I don't think I will be attending then." She said thoughtfully. She really didn't want to go if she was just going to be shot at with accusations everywhere she turned. But these days, any public place had that effect on her.

"If you are or not, I will not have anyone say false or digraceful acusastions or names." One thing he could not stand was disrespect of a coullege and they showed it plenty to Michelle, and Vincent shot them down, he will do it also to defend Madison as well.

"Thank you, but you don't have to. Maybe they'll feel better once they get it all off their chests." She smirked a little. Truth was, Madison just wasn't going as human. She wouldn't miss a meeting, no matter how pointless.

He said nothing. Their was no reason to retort to her comment, he knew the truth of the matter.

He nodded his head in agreement and smile. With a pop he disapeared, off to do something or another.
