Time Come and Gone (Tag: Lacetta)

Eirina sat in her office, ruffling through the papers that she had going on her desk. The day had been quiet, and her office had managed to be chillier than usual. She was nearly tempted to wear gloves, but thought better of it. Instead she sat at her desk, wanting to do work, though unwilling to do so.

It had been quite a while since Lacetta had been in Hogwarts. She was quite surprised, really, that the Headmistress had asked her to meet with her, though she didn't know what about. Looking through the halls, Lacetta observed the familiar stony build that she had left behind. The moving portraits were familiar as well, and made her smile as she watched them greet her, or simply watched her as she moved around. It felt like home to her, and being here once more made her happy, though a bit sad, too, for having to have left the place.

Slowly, she entered Headmistress Naer's office, more nervous as she got closer and closer. She was unsure of what was to happen, and what the conversation was to entail. She did her best to remain calm and collected, though Lacetta was more nervous than she could ever before remember.

"Headmistress, it's a pleasure to see you. You had asked for me..."

She trailed off, unsure of what else she should have said.

Eirina looked up, watching the familiar head of blonde hair enter her office. She nodded her head, acknowledging that she heard what Lacetta had said. Still, she seemed caught up in her work, and almost as if she hardly noticed or cared for Lacetta's presence, which highly contradicted what she was about to say.

"You're hired as Head Nurse. The investigation has come back clean," she paused before speaking again, her eyes coming up to look Lacetta in the eye, "that is, if you want the job, of course." She seemed to have forgotten that Lacetta had a choice in the matter, of course, if she even still wanted the job. Eirina had just assumed that she would.
