Knock Knock! There's a Fox at the Door! (Tag: Blaine and Blaire... and eventually Adeon)

The decision might have been stupid, naive, and certainly not at all thought out, but whether she should have or not, Carling was too upset to change her mind. Getting shown up by that foreigner back in London still had her riled up. It had been weeks, but she just couldn't get the situation out of her head. He thought he was better than she was. So she wanted to take it out on someone else. Particularly a someone she knew was pureblood.

And so, she found herself outside the Attor Residence. Did she know who those people were a week ago? No. But she'd done her research, which pretty much consisted of an 'eenie meanie minie moe' method on a wizarding equivalent to a phone book. It had been easy to find one at the post office in Diagon Alley, and after gathering some supplies for the heist, she managed to get here, to get inside.

Carling had been much more efficient than she normally was. For example, she'd snatched up a blueprint, which she was now looking over to find her way in. She wasn't going to screw this up, she had to prove she was just as good as these people. And then, that would mean she was just as good as that foreigner.

After she found the entrance she was looking for, she rolled up the blueprints, slung her bag of supplies over her shoulder, and started towards the back of the house. She would slip in quietly, and 1 o'clock in the morning was a good time to do it.

Blaine was sleeping peacefully with his wife at his side and their dogs at their feet. He sighed and got up when Tea started whining to be let out. He was still a puppy; at least he wasn't peeing in the house. Blaine stood and looked at the clock; one am. He groaned then picked the pup up and brought him downstairs. He walked outside and put him down then sat in a lawn chair.

Blaire just rolled over in her sleep and sighed. She relaxed in her sleep and once she felt Blaine get out of bed she opened her eyes and say him walk out of the room and then she heard Tea whimpering. She just let Blaine take him out and she would get him next time. Blaire closed her eyes again and tried to fall back asleep with Angel cuddling up around her feet.

Blaine leaned his head back and closed his eyes. He sighed, shivering in the cold. Finally, Tea was ready to go back in. He picked the puppy up then brought him inside. He dried his paws then headed back upstairs. He put Tea on the bed then crawled back underneath the blankets. "We are getting a damned doggie door..." He yawned then closed his eyes.

Carling saw through the fence as the man came out with his pup. Carling's lip curled at the sight; the thought of having a pet- and having to take care of it- didn't interest her in the slightest. But that wasn't the real reason why it bothered her. Dogs could hear and smell.

She would just have to make due if the dog did alert the family of her presence. She watched as the man picked the dog back up and went inside, and followed quietly after him, once he had closed the door. She counted: 1..... 2.... 3.... Before slowly turning the knob.

(Did he lock it on his way in?)

"Mmhmm got it." Blaire murmured tired snuggling up beside him. She rested her head on his chest and yawned before trying to fall back asleep.

(No, they never lock their doors lol)

Blaine put an arm around her then sighed. He kissed her forehead then closed his eyes. "Tomorrow..." He whispered before falling asleep.

As she slowly pushed the door open she looked around the room, sliding on her new, and very muggle, night-vision goggles. Nifty it was, though a tad bit heavy, the goggles would at least keep her from knocking into things. She could only see so much in pitch black. She'd dressed quite appropriately for the occasion however: she was all dressed in black, from top to bottom, and her blatantly red hair was tied back and stuffed into her beanie. She also had a face mask over her mouth; the kind muggles used for painting houses and whatnot.

Her shoes made little sound, as she crossed the room and into what appeared to be the living room. Her green little round specs scanned the room, but she couldn't find anything too valuable to take. Well sure, fancy wall ornaments and gold picture frames, but that wasn't what she wanted. She wanted something that would really piss off the owners of the house. She could certainly leave her note here, however. She opened the sack in her arms, and unceremoniously dumped the load. There wasn't as much as one might think: a few cans of spray paint, her wand, and a basic blaze box of Weasley's Wildfire Whiz-bangs. She hoped that pricey box of fireworks was worth it, after spending so much time scrounging up the spare change. Galleons weren't easy to get for a lowly witch such as herself.

She grabbed her wand, pocketed it, and then stood up with a pair of the spray cans in her hands. She smirked, as she left her thank you note. What it said would be a surprise, for them to see after they left. Whoever these people were- it didn't matter to Carling. They'd view her art nonetheless. She returned to the bag, being quick in case they'd heard her shaking the spray cans, and she pulled out the one thing that hadn't fallen out of her sack: a Decoy Detonator. Now that the sack was empty, she threw it over her shoulder, and straightened up the box of fireworks, sliding it under a table so it wouldn't easily. Finally, she set off the Decoy Detonator, which started making all manners of noise, such as crashing sounds, explosions, a phone ringing, car honking, and she hurried over and slid behind the staircase. Assuming the homeowners would turn the light on their way down, Carl pulled her night vision goggles off and let them hang around her neck, and waited.

Blaire jerked up at the sound of the noise. She glared in the dark and groaned out in frustration. She had a feeling that something like this would be coming from her brothers. She sighed and tapped Blaine.

"Go see what the hell is that and if it's my brothers you have my permission to kick their asses." Blaire murmured as she shoved her head into the pillow and covering it trying to block out the noise. Angel got off the bed and headed downstairs towards the noise.

Blaine groaned. "Babe you go... I already got up once and I'm cold... Besides, their you're brothers..."

Blaire groaned and sat up and got up out of bed throwing the covers off herself.

"Those freaking dorks better have a good damn reason..." Blaire murmured angrily as she headed out the door. She was still muttering curse words at her brothers when she walked down the stairs and was ready to connect her fist with someone's face for waking her up this early in the morning. They were going to pay so bad for this. She reached the bottom of the stairs and flicked the lights on and looked at the mess of their living room and her lips parted in surprise and shock.

"Blaine get down here!" Blaire screamed. Her hands curled into fist and she was getting ready to punch the nearest wall.

Blair jumped up and ran downstairs, followed by Angel and Tea. He had his wand in hand, trying to pull on a shirt at the same time. "What? For Merlin's sake, who's here?" He ran up behind his wife, looking, his eyes still heavy with sleep.

As she heard not one, but many little puppy paws following the house owners downstairs, Carl felt she didn't have much time to dawdle. She'd practiced for this moment night and day since she bought the fireworks, and for once, she felt confident as she drew her wand, circling around to the front of the stairs as she aimed her wand and cried, "Stupify!"

It was a moment Carl would not soon forget, as she hit the mark, and the fireworks came to life, that for once, her magic had worked, and for once, she'd also have her way. There were an abundance of sparkling figures dancing around the room, some choosing to pursue the houseowners, others deciding to spell out profanity in the air, or lay waste to the furniture and the walls. There were flying pink and silver pigs, and as Carl hurried up the stairs with her empty sack, she saw a bundle of silver snake sparklers going for the couple's feet. At least the dogs would be satisfied.

When she got upstairs, she headed into the only door that was open, and spotted an ornate vanity with a jewelry box and several fancy looks bracelets already laid out in plain sight. There was also the typical things ladies needed to get ready in the morning, but also a wand. Carl didn't have time to pick and choose, so she just shoved everything on the table into her sack, and looked for an exit. She'd trash the wand and other non-valuables later.

Blaire squealed and ran.

"I don't know but look what they did the living room!" Blaire cried as the fire works started going off. She glanced around the room in horror as tears welled up in her eyes. She was not upset...okay she was upset that the living room was trashed but she was angry and blazing angry. If any one had looked her in the eyes right then and there then they would have known how pissed me she was. Oh this was going to be payback and it was going to be a painful one at that. Then she realized that her wand was upstairs and she wouldn't be no good without it if they found someone in the house.

"Blaine scope out the rest of the house. I'm going to get my wand from upstairs." Blaire murmured before heading upstairs to their room to grab her wand off the table where she had it.

Blaine nodded then looked around the rest of the house. When he didn't find anyone, he went upstairs to Blaire.

Blaire ran into the master bedroom and stared for a moment at the girl who had a sack in her hand and her eyes got wide. Her hands curled into fist and Blaire was about to just forget her wand and punch the girl in the face.

"Who are you?!" Blaire screamed.

Carling whirled around, as the woman came to face her, but as she questioned who Carl was, Carl could do nothing but smirk. With a sack in one hand, and her wand in the other, she had no reason to answer the woman and ruin her fun. That wand on the vanity had to be this blonde's, that was as clear as the bare hands the woman showed in plain sight. With that in mind, Carl didn't want to give anything away. Even a voice could be traced back- somehow. Carl felt the safest way to be safe was to assume magic had no limits.

Speaking of, the woman may not have had her wand, but that didn't mean her husband wasn't a threat. Carling spun around, ran for the window, jumped, and crashed through it. When she landed, she barrel-rolled off the overhanging above the front door and landed, a bit less gracefully, on her back on the cold hard cement leading out into the street. A bit winded, a whimper escaped her as she slowly got to her feet, and quickly shook it off as she glanced over her shoulder. With the valuables safe, she made off into the night, running as fast as her feet would carry her.

The 'note' she left behind on their wall said:

Blaire watched as the person jumped out the window and let the air into the house and she glanced at the message on the wall she got even angrier.

"A MUDBLOOD WAS IN MY HOUSE TOUCHING MY THINGS!?" Blaire screamed. Oh god now she was out for blood. She went to her dresser ready to get her wand when she noticed her things were missing and more importantly her wand was missing. Her eyes went wide and her breathing came in shallow breaths. She ran to the broken window.

"YOU FILTHY LITTLE MUDBLOOD YOU STOLE MY WAND! I'M GOING TO SKIN YOU ALIVE YOU HEAR ME YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!! YOU FILTH!" Blaire screamed. She then started to cry silently. That was had been made for her. It had been hand crafted from a wand maker of the family and made just to her liking and personality and she loved it. It had always worked for Blaire. She wiped her face with her hand and wiped away the tears.

"You're going to die. Slowly. By my hands....you can run but you can't hide." Blaire whispered to the wind. Blaire's dark side was seeping out of her and it wanted blood.

Blaine ran in and saw Blaire crying. "Babe, what happened?" He noticed her vanity and how empty it was. "She took your stuff..." He whispered, obviously stating the obvious. He went to her and pulled her into his arms. "It's alright... I'll get her. Trust me..." He got quiet then looked at her. "Did she take your wedding ring?"

Blaire just shook her head solemnly. She raised her left hand to show that her rings were right on her hand. She never took those off because she never wanted to lose.

"She took my wand." Blaire hissed.

Blaine looked at her finger then kissed her temple. "Babe, it's ok. I'll find who did this..."

"Blaine I love the support but I'm going to handle this....I have a good idea of who to go to see for to find someone. Then it's going to get really bloody..." Blaire said. She felt like she did when she was on mission mode for the DE's. She was hyped for the fight, for the run...and most importantly for the torture.

Blaine smiled. "Fine, I'll let you handle it." He hugged her. "What now?" He looked at the time. It was 2:00 AM.

"Thank you." Blaire murmured. For what she was going to do was going to a dark journey and she didn't exactly want Blaine getting involved in how many dark secrets she had hidden within her family due to being death eaters for centuries. She sighed and leaned against the wall.

"Well I'm going to go find the person I need...and if you be so nice you could you know fix the window and then tell the house elves to clean the mess up in the living room for some fun before heading back to bed. I want that stuff cleaned by the time I get home and if it isn't done tell them they will be punish..." Blaire hissed. She took a deep breath and went into her closet. She pulled on a pair of shorts and a black-tube top and then pulled her blackest cloak on and walked out staring at Blaine from underneath the hood.

"I'll be back and don't worry about me. I've got this handled." Blaire smiled. She walked over to him and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

"Love you," Blaire smiled as she took a few steps back getting ready to apperate.

Blaine nodded then gave her a smile. "I'll always worry about you..." He pulled her back to him. "I love you too." He hugged her tightly and kissed her then let her go. He turned to go talk to the house elves then looked back. "Blaire...? Be careful."
