PERSONALITY: At first glance, Theodore seems reserved and distant, due to his innate nature to sense how he feels in the situation he has found himself in and in order to soak up the atmosphere before acting. Whenever he decides that the prowl doesn't need to be prolonged any further, he usually tries to be outgoing and communicative, trying to approach people more easily. Most of his friends would describe him as loyal and responsible, someone you can rely on, although he often doesn't see that as his most prominent trait. Theodore thinks of himself as trustworthy and strong willed, partly because of his hard work in the field of transfiguration, and partly due to his strict upbringing. Patient and tolerant, Theodore seems to be the type who soaks things up, but once the limits have been passed, he might react recklessly and rather irrational, for which he will later pay by blaming and mentally punishing himself. Eager to learn while thinking of himself as rather smart at the same time might prove to be troublesome, due to the paradoxical cycle his emotions are constantly in. He’s not eager to completely trust a person or open himself up, but he likes to rely on his senses and instincts in order to decide if a situation is in dire need of a strike or retreat.

LIKES: Theodore is adventurous and an outdoors type of guy, often taking long walks or runs near forests or lakes. Spring is his favourite season, especially when it’s warm yet windy, just enough to feel the breeze in your hair and the sun on your cheeks. Reading or simply observing nature with a pack of cigarettes and coffee is his favourite way to pass the time.

DISLIKES: Theodore has never been too fond of numbers and algebra in general, never having the ability to think in that way or to observe his surroundings in that manner. He’s negative towards tardiness and lying, in the sense of not keeping to your word, as well as dowdiness, including old-fashioned mindsets and attire. He’s prone to reacting badly when in a nervous or unstable environment or towards people with negative attitude, since he’ll feel imbalanced and chaotic; unable to react like he’d wish. Never too fond when people point out his flaws blatantly, without argumenting them properly, he’s easy to pick up a fight if he explodes, or walking away hastily in order to escape further conflict - in which he never found pleasure, unless it’s a duel in which he can show his abilities and strength.

FEARS: Theodore is most afraid of losing control and starting to completely judge by his emotions, getting overwhelmed by them and reacting differently than he thinks he’s supposed to. Losing his magical talent is also one of his greater fears, since he has built an image for himself through that, and he’d find himself completely lost of whom he is if that would happen.

Theodore was born in a well standing family, considering both of his parents have been working in MoM several years before he was born. His father worked in the Department of Magical Transportation while his mother was in charge of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures’s department. Due to their high ranking positions and high responsibility at work, it reflected on their personal life; granted, Theo was raised in a quite strict environment. Rarely seeing his parents he’d spend days alone or with his younger sister, Arianne, abiding by whichever rule they left behind to the numerous nannies that took care of them. After his acceptance to Hogwarts, his parents decided to return to the family and accepted lower positions while still continuing to work in the Ministry. This did well for the whole family, although it weakened the relationship between his sister due to the difference between their childhoods. Theo became more reckless and adventurous, trying to experience anything he thought he had missed abiding by those strict rules while his mind battled those wishes. Arianne on the hand, grew up to be an A student in all fields, proceeding to graduate from Ravenclaw and become a Hit wizard.

Theodore, on the other hand, aced in Transfiguration, Charms, DADA; everything that had to do anything with spellcasting, but had trouble with theoretical fields. After a lot of negotiating, his parents agreed to find him a position in the Ministry, where he gave lessons as a transfigurations tutor and helped animaguses in overcoming their troubles with transformations. Recently, his mother was infected by a strange disease while working, and died a slow death; causing the whole family to slowly fall apart. His father retreated into solitude, while his sister dug herself up in work, ignoring any of Theo’s tries to keep his family back together; causing this to reflect on his psyche. Theodore lost his ability to turn into an animagus, probably due to the fact he suddenly felt like he doesn’t belong home anymore and losing faith in himself by letting his family fall apart. With nowhere to turn to and feeling uncomfortable in the Ministry, Theodore decided to apply for a position at Hogwarts. He hoped this would provide room for himself and a way to become more in touch with his inner self by teaching others and reliving the time that, seemingly, passed too quickly.
