This is a small courtyard where students can stay and talk, as well as where they depart for Hogsmeade

*Professor Reid trots out into the courtyard in her cat form. She hops onto a bench and slowly sweeps the area with her gaze. It was obvious she hadn't gotten much sleep last night*

*jumps down and trots off, leaving to go attend to her morning tasks*

Elizabeth walks into the courtyard from the lake, shivering slightly. She avoids people even more than usual, staying very far away from everyone. When she spots a shaded tree, she goes and sits under it, trying to calm herself down. Her hands continue to shiver, but she occupies her mind. Thoughts like, her recent scarring, her new piercings, and Ozzy. Anything except what was going on.

Elizabeth sighs softly, and looks at her left shoulder. Her collar bone was hurting because of the wing she had carved into it. She was proud of her artwork, though. Her mind drifted to her corset piercings. Elizabeth was very proud of them, and had to be her favorite piercing. As far as she knew, only Amilee had seen them, but that was fine with her.

Elizabeth leaned against the tree she was sitting under, glad that no one she didn't know bothered her. Her hand drifted absently to her left collarbone. It searched for her bandages under her cloak, and soon found them. Elizabeth tore the bandages off, and traced the wing that was forever carved into her skin.

Elizabeth freezes when she sees the same Slytherin girls from earlier. She tried to blend into the tree y pressing herself into it, but the girls saw her anyways. The boldest one sneered and walked over. "Look at this! It's the little Metal Freak from the bridge!" She leaned over and grabbed the bottom of Elizabeth's face, forcing her to look at the girl. "You crossed the wrong house, girl! if we see you around again, it will take more than metal to fix your face." The girl twisted her hand quickly, causing Elizabeth's face to snap to the side painfully. The clique laughed and giggled. walking away from the already in pain Elizabeth.

Amber walks out onto the courtyard and she sees the little event and she watches the Sytherin girls leave and she rolls her eyes and looks at the Ravenclaw girl with a blank stare, "Hey. Are you alright..?" Amber might also be Sytherin but she doesn't take much amusement in torturing others for her own entertainment.

Selene runs out and stops beside Amber.

Elizabeth flinches visibly when the girl talks to her. When she saw that Amber was Slytherin, it didn't help much either. Elizabeth's hands started to shake, and she avoided the girl's gaze. "I-I-I-I'll be.....f-f-fine...."

Amber looks away not looking at the girl seeing how it makes her nervous.

Selene, Amber's kitten, runs over to the other girl and looks up at her and meows, concerned.

Amber looks at Selene then turns and walks away slightly to give the girl some distance. She didn't feel like torturing the girl even more than she was already.

Elizabeth feels bad about not letting them any closer, but she was just too scared right now. Gently, she pet Selene, calming down so that her hands weren't shaking. Elizabeth stood and nervously walked towards the other girl, but making sure she wasn't to close. Elizabeth stuck out her hand "I-I'm Elizabeth.... Th-Thank you for worrying about me...."

Amber stops but look at the girl not wanting to get her nervous once again,
"I'm Amber and you're welcome."

Selene purrs slightly.

Amber turns slightly, then reaches out her hand to touch the other's but she takes it back, "...Sorry..." She really didn't like touching people much.

Elizabeth took her hand back. "I-I-It's fine....." Elizabeth looks thoughtful for a moment. "I-I owe you.....If y-you ever need anything....." Elizabeth meant to finish her sentence, but she found that ll that had happened today had drained her. She bowed respectfully, instead of finishing the sentence. "Thanks....b-but I have to go..." Trying not to be rude or do anything that could anger Amber, she left.

Amber nods, "Later." Amber looks upwards and Selene meows and lays down at Amber's side.

Amber sits down and stares upwards.

Selene stands up then jumps into Amber's lap. She curls up then falls asleep.

Selene starts to purr in her sleep.

Amber stares upwards and watches the movements of the clouds with a blank, cold facial expression.

Amber rolls her eyes when she hears Selene starts to meow in her sleep. How did she end up with such an annoying kitten? She doesn't know how.

Amber shakes her head and she looks upwards once again, watching the sky with a blank expression. Her cold aura seems to have gotten worse over the day.

Eirina walked onto the courtyard, and turned around to face Bart.

"This is, of course, one of the main areas that the students hang about."

Eirina looked up and smiles, waving and approaching Amber.

"Hello Amber, has your day been going well?"

Amber hears the headmistress then she stands up, holding Selene in her arms. She faces the headmistress and bows to her, "Good afternoon, Professor Naer. My day...? Fine, i guess... And yours?"

Selene stays asleep in Amber's arms.

Amber looks at Professor Naer with a blank facial expression.

Eirina smiled.

"Oh sweetie there's no need to bow! My day has been well. I'd like you to meet Mr.Willow, he's the Minister of Magic."
