Characteristics:
PERSONALITY: In no way shape or form is Kayla shy, she’s very much a talkative person and is almost always laughing and smiling. When with friends she keeps the conversation going either with jokes or comments. It’s sometimes hard for her professors to shut her up during classes. Even so, everyone seems to be able to tolerate and enjoy her talkative nature. Kayla can often be very sarcastic—and she often couldn’t care less. Kayla is always there for her friends for them to cry on her shoulder or rant about something. She is fiercely protective of friends/family and loyal to anyone in those categories, if you mess with a family member or friend she isn’t afraid of tell you what she thinks about that. The one thing she won’t do in this matter is fight, unless it’s to protect someone.

LIKES: music, books and nature.

DISLIKES: goodie-two shoes, needles and spicy foods.

FEARS: heights and bullying.

HISTORY:

On December 17th Kayla was born. When she was only a toddler, Kayla tried to sing which shocked both her parents but they soon learned that would only be the start. By the time she was five, Kayla had learned to sing and read to keep herself busy. She instantly fell in love with reading and her collection of books grew with her age. When she was six, they got a family pet, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel by the name of Skippy. By the age of seven, Kayla figured out she was different from the other kids since their moms and dads couldn’t make paper birds fly or wash dishes without using hands. But she kept this to herself, soon realizing that this wasn’t “normal parent behavior.” When she was eight, Kayla also figured out she was a good liar—she was able to convince a neighbor that she hadn’t been the one who broke his window but that the boy across the street did. She eventually got in trouble for the lie yet even so she could tell lying might help her in the future. During this time she was homeschooled and really didn’t mind, she knew she was different from the other kids so it really didn’t bother her. She had friends despite this—and because of lying she was able to make up the story that her parents “didn’t believe in traditional schools.” Her one best friend from the neighborhood is Olivia who had been getting teased about her glasses, so when Kayla found out she beat up the offending boys so that the neighborhood children quickly realized her powerful loyalty. Now Kayla simply waits for her Hogwarts Letter and to enter the world of Magic for herself.
