Adeon kicked open the door, walking inside the cabin. There was only a small kitchen and small living room attatched to it, if you could even call it that. It was more like a couch and a cabinet. The only 'room' that existed was seperate, and it was his room and bathroom. He had a small bed in there, and a few drawers of clothes, but that was it. The only window that existed was in the kitchen, tiny and impossible to squeeze in, just how Adeon liked it.

Everything was wooden and old, aside from the locks that layered his door and window, and the metal stuck between the wood. It was extremely secure, even though it looked aged and ready to fall.

Adeon placed Nadya on the couch as he walked into the kitchen. He grabbed a few medical sponges, tape, and anti-infectants. As he walked over he grabbed a towel, too, and sat on the floor in front of Nadya.

"Ready?"

Before she could say a word he stuffed the towel in her mouth as he poured the anti-infectants onto her wound, knowing the sting too well. He tore the bottum of her shirt a little more so that he had room to tape it down. Placing the sponges onto her open flesh, he quickly taped them on tight. There was only room for the wound to get better now.

Nadya screamed as he poured on the disinfectant, but it only came out as a muffled cryy due to the towel stuffed in her mouth. As she regained her strength, he was already strapping on a sponge, AND had ripped the bottom of her shirt. Seeing no reason to remove the towel from her mouth, she latched onto his wrist, as tight of a grip as a hawk's talons, especially with her nails digging into his skin. She conveyed her rage and defiance merely through her savage glare. She would have much rather done it herself before allowing some stranger cause her so much pain. A stranger who was working for Lestrange, none the less. She gave one last squeeze to his wrist before clinging to her pain indifferently, like a shield, and then released him, leaving white marks down his wrist. She leaned back, pulling the towel away from her mouth and threw it out of the way. "That hurt like shit." Though the strain in her voice showed the sharp pain hadn't gone away.

Adeon smirked and shrugged with his usual arrogance. He stood in a tower and walked back toward the kitchen, putting a few of the things away. The towel hung loosely on a rack, he places the towels and bandages away. He wasn't a neat freak, but it was easier for him to put stuff away as soon as he used it. The last time he came home...god that was hell. He could barely walk throught the blasted door.

Turning around he walked toward his bedroom and shut the door behind him, completely ignoring Nadya. In the privacy of his bathroom, attatched to his bedroom, he took off his shirt and inspected his own knife wound. He easily glared at it, memories of the client who had given him the case for his knife. He claimed it was an extra gift, he was a specialist. Adeon didn't believe him, but free stuff was good. So he took it. Now look what happened.

He was close, but didn't hit his vitals. He grabbed a small bottle of disinfectant, slightly different from what he used on Nadya, and bit his lip as he poured it on. Taking a needle and thread, he awkwardly began to sew the wound shut.

As Adeon shut the door behind him, she simply rolled her eyes, and slowly sat up in a more comfortable position. It was difficult moving at all without triggering another wave of pain, but she was completely silent about it. She glanced around the living room/kitchen with indifference, but then her eyes widened as chills slid down her spine.

"Nadya! Nadya! Nadya!!!!" She could just see (imagine) Luke wandering that forest, searching for her.

But the look of panic in her eyes was not for her old Hogwarts friend, but for her precious blade, of which she was imagining over and over again, Luke finding.

"Damn it!" She breathed hoarsely as she ran her hands through her hair.

Adeon finished with the last few stitches and took a deep breath.

"Done."

He grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the thread, patting down a small cloth and taping it to the sewn wound. It still bled when he stretched and twisted, but it was better then before. More convienent, and it would heal better this way.

He threw on a white wife beater and walked out of the bathroom, out of the bedroom, and right into the living room. He saw Nadya, adjusting herself on the couch and cursing to herself.

"You think I like this any better? I'm not a fuckin' babysitter, you know."

He slipped his hands under her and lifted her up again, walking back to his bedroom and throwing her onto the bed. There were no windows in the room, so she wouldn't be able to escape or anything. The only way out was threw the living room, which was where he'd be.

"You'll stay here."

"I'm not some damn animal you can just fling around you know!" She retorted, sitting herself up in the bed the moment he'd unceremoniously thrown her onto it. Naturally, she was glaring at him once again, "And you left my sword out there! My sword!" She threw her head into the pillow with a frustrated scream, knowing he wouldn't let her leave either, "So am I just your hostage until you get bored or vhat?" She said, her rage simmering for the moment, but her glare never fading.

"Hell no."

He shook his head. He did not want to spend much longer with her. He would have to, of course, but at a distance. Much more convient, and much less noise. Her voice was annoying as anything, Adeon swore his ears were bleeding.

"When your better in a day. Maybe two, but god knows it better be a day. Then you can go do whatever the hell you like, but I'm not watching a baby like you bleed out on the streets. Pretty boring if you ask me."

"So vee had to go through all of this just for you to realize you ain't got vhat it takes for the job?" Nadya scoffed rolling onto her side so her back was turned away from him, "Fine by me." Her only thoughts were getting out of here so she could retrieve her sword.

"How the hell did you come to that conclusion?"

He looked at her like she was crazy. Of course he could do the job. He was above the job. He almost scuffed and laughed, but this time was able to keep it to himself. She didn't know just how good he was, did she? Hah.

"Whatever."

He turned his back and walked out to his living room, grabbing his weapons and strapping them on while speaking, "I'll be outside."

Adeon had his home, home made training center right outside. There was a a huge outdoor, and indoor, arena. The outdoor arena was just in view of his house, close enough for him to jump at any action that may go on. Hear and see it was well. If he ever misfired though, which was at this point never, it was a decent enough distance for anything to plunge into the soft mud before it could hit his home. Not that it would make any kind of dent.

Nadya rolled her eyes as he shut the door behind him. Now alone, Nadya gingerly sat up, trying not to make the wound in her side worse. She sighed, crossing her legs and pulling her wiry brunette hair back into a sloppy bun. 'Just one day.' She told herself as she rubbed her eyes. She was already plotting ahead, imagining how Luke would react once she came back for her sword.

Adeon appeared inside his house, and kicked out the couch in his 'living room' so that it turned into a spare bed. He never had visitors, but he had bought a new couch just in case he had another incident. Nadya, being his last incident, and the biggest mistake he'd ever made. He was glad to be ridden of that job. He set Carl on the pull out bed, and looked at her shoulder room.

He had no idea what to do, because the bullet was still in her skin, so he couldn't just close it up. He wasn't very good at healing magic, or medical procedures as big as this, usually not caring much and not being effected too much by such things. And if he was, he did a half asses job, which explained the amounted scars over his body that were current unseen.

"I don't know what to do about that. I could pull it out, but I can't promise anything pretty."

He gave a quick nod toward the bullet wound.

"And I get the feeling that St. Mungos isn't your first option," he smirked as he said this, already telling himself that he had been right.

"Fuck no." She answered, nearly out of breath as the burning sensation in her shoulder intensified here and there. She hadn't been happy when he'd taken her gun and picked her up- like she couldn't take care of herself- but now, the pain was causing her to forget the little things that were irritating her.

"God, pull it out?" She looked to him, "Please just. Fuck." She was about to run her hand through her hair, but then stared at the blood in her palm instead, thinking better of it. Her fingers were trembling.

Spoiler:

A pair of science tongs were now in Adeon's hand, cleaned and disinfected, "So, what'll it be? Pull it out, St. Mungos, or bleed to death. The third option sounds tempted, I know, but I don't need to waste my time burring you." He smirked as he joked around on the last part. He knew she'd probably be pissed, clearly not in the mood with a bullet in her shoulder, but he still found his sarcastic humor to be entertaining.

"No no no." She answered quickly at the thought of dying, but nor did the sight of the tongs make her any more comfortable either. She finally sighed. "Please just get on with it. It hurts like shit. Quickly!"

She turned her head away, unable to bare looking at him or her bleeding shoulder.

Adeon chuckled, not at all effected by the bleeding wound in her shoulder.

"You're gonna scream..."

He noted as he sunk the tongues into her open wound, slowly twisting them until he could find a click of metal. He started to worry that it was more towards the back of her body then the front, but in that second he heard the cling of metal touching metal, and clamped around the bullet, pulling it out.

Adeon had one knee on her arm and his other hand on her shoulder, holding her down. It wasn't easy to stay still during these things, even he had a hard time doing in now. When he first performed on himself, he flinched enough that he made the injury hole worse, but he learned quickly and got better at it, he just didn't care to learn any proper techniques, only what suited him.

"Got it....stitches? Or do you want an attempted healing spell I've done once before. I did a pretty good job though on that turtle, he lived to see another few days," he was clearly enjoying himself with Carling, teasing her and testing to see how far he could push her.

Scream was exactly what she did, before biting her lip and burying her face in the couch as she tried- and failed- to keep the images of the thing sticking in her arm, out of her head. She was almost relieved when she felt the metal leave her shoulder, if not for the immense pain that followed as the wound was more open to the air that made it sting oh so much.

When the pain returned to a more bearable state, she grew limp, exhausted, as she pulled her face away from the couch.

"Got it....stitches? Or do you want an attempted healing spell I've done once before. I did a pretty good job though on that turtle, he lived to see another few days"

"You had a fuckin' pet turtle?" She couldn't help but break into a a weak laugh. She needed the conversation, anything to distract her. But she then added, "Don't be pointin' no stick at me," with a lopsided smirk, before she closed her eyes and leaned her head back.

"Well I have nothing here for numbing, I don't waste my money on that, so you're fine with a needle and thread going in and out of your skin? Or do you want to do it yourself?" He could see her now, staring at a needle in her hand and the wound on her shoulder, getting closer to her skin, but completely unable to do the task. In his mind she looked nauseous and sick to her stomach at the idea, and he predicted that she'd look much the same in person.

He grabbed a needle and thread, showing her that the needle was a tad large in order to get the thick thread required through her skin. He held the needle out to her, but had his doubts that she would actually take it, and readied his leg on her arm, and was ready to place his arm on the other shoulder as he did before.

She didn't even have to look before slowly shaking her head, not even opening her eyes. Happy place... Happy place, happy thoughts. Just get it over with so he would get off of her. She was already feeling confined under his weight, towering over her.

He went to work with the needle, trying to be as quick as he could, sewing through her skin and all. The faster he got it over with, the faster he could ask her a few questions. He wanted to know why she had been there, and what she was so made about. He wasn't expecting her, nor anyone, to interfere with his plan. And she did more then interfere.

Adeon finished up with the last seam, and tied a large and strong knot at the end of the string, cutting it with scissors. He threw the needle to the side, and got off of Carling so that she could have more room to breath and catch herself into a better place.

"Done," He spoke as got up and left for the kitchen skin. He held a small tray in hand with all of the tools he used, throwing some gentle cleansing potion toward her as he washed the tray and things in the sink.

As he had worked with the thread and needle, her hands balled up into fists as he inserted the needle, and pulled it back out each time, biting her lip again as he did so. When he finished, she let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding, and sat up a little more on the couch. She hardly caught whatever he had thrown her way, so it landed in her lap. Her arms felt quite useless to her at the moment- like jelly. She managed to wiggle her arms at first, before she was actually able to get her hands on the bottle in her lap and look it over, "What's this?"

She opened it up, dabbing her finger in it and watched with big blue eyes as the dried up blood on her fingertip vanished. She wasn't a big fan of weird unexplainable magicky stuff like that, but nor was she a fan of the blood caked up on her skin. So, she didn't hesitate too much, before dabbling with the odd liquid and cleaning herself up.

By the time she was done though, she was feeling light-headed from the blood loss, and the room was starting to sway. It took a bit more effort that necessary, but she laid down and pulled her feet up onto the couch, feeling much more stable with her face buried in the cushion.

"Do you have a bucket?" Came her muffled voice, followed by a groan. She was feeling sick.

Adeon barely heard anything Carling had said over the running water, so he just decided that it wasn't important and continued to wash the needle and throw away the thread that he had used. As he finished he put the items away in a shelf full of odd and medical contraptions, all looking cheap enough to work and be used for a variety of problems. That was when he heard Carling speak again.

"What? Speak up!"

He looked over his shoulder and saw Carling's face planted into his couch, and her skin tone had turned even paler. Adeon completely stopped what he was doing, realizing just what was happened, and picked her up and walked her straight into his personal bathroom. He didn't have any buckets ready at hand, but sure as hell he had a toilet that he promptly set her down in front of.

(ROFL)

Needless to say, just the getting up and moving about made her dizzy, and she practically had to cling to him up until he plopped her down in front of... wow, really? "Classy." She retorted. If she had anything else to say, it was abruptly cut off when she, quite frankly, deposited this evening's dinner into the loo.

Surprisingly, her head was a tad clearer now, and for that reason, she wasn't gonna be Miss Helpless. She reached up, flushed the toilet, pulled herself up by grabbing the sink, and rinsed her mouth out in the sink.

She then turned, giving him a 'Don't even' glare, before proceeded through his bedroom, back to the safety of her- yes her- couch. Fuck. Throwing up and she wasn't even drunk. She may as well have been. Least then she wouldn't remember it in the morning. It didn't take long before Carl had cozied herself back into the couch and drifted off into sleep.

She'd just been saved by a cold-blooded killer, and was now sleeping on his couch. Wouldn't her mother be proud.

He watched her throw up, surprisingly not grossed out, and chuckled when she called his toilet classy. It was anything but, but hell, what was she expecting? A princess cup for her puke full of butterflies and pansies? He shook his head at the thought, if she was expecting better then she was in the wrong place. But before Adeon could make any retort, the girl was gone and off to the couch.

The biggest concern he had was that she'd throw up all of his couch and belongings, which weren't many, but they weren't anything he wanted to replace. And even worse, as he came out of his bedrooom and walked toward the couch, pulled out into a bed, she was asleep. He did not plan to keep her here, only until he got his answers about her appearance at the manor and what she was so angry about. And here she was, all pluffed up and asleep on his couch.

Great.

There was nothing he could do about the situation, and seeing that dawn would be breaking soon, Adeon escaped to the outside, back into the forest where he had set up his large training center, and began practice.

In the morning, Carling began to stir, reaching up to scratch her shoulder. Her eyes flew open as her fingertips found the stitches, and chills ran down her spine. Blech. Okay, she certainly didn't want to make another bloody mess. So, she withdrew her hand from her shoulder and sat up on her couch/bed/thing. She glanced around, looking for Adeon, but seeing his bedroom door cracked open, she had a feeling he wasn't here.

Good. Carling was a damn grumpy morning kinda person.

She yawned loudly, stretching her arms out for good measure, and finally, got up off the couch. She peeled off her black beanie and pulled her air out of its bun, and looked down at her tank top. Ew. Dried up blood was gross. And certainly not the way she wanted to wake up.

She slipped into his bedroom, checking again to see if he was there, before she opened the bureau and went rifling through his things, finding nothing but shirts that all looked the same. With an inward sigh, she pulled out a gray long-sleeve shirt that was absolutely positively too big for her. Adeon needed to shrink down like, ten sizes. Heh.

Anyways, she pulled off her tank top, threw it into the corner of the room carelessly- she didn't want it anymore- and put on the gray long-sleeve, frowning as her thumb found its way into a hole on the sleeve. She then went towards the bathroom to look in the mirror, only to see she even got dried up spot of blood on her pants.

"Jesus." She sighed as she pulled the jeans off as well; this shirt may as well have been a dress anyways. So she left her clothes in Adeon's bedroom and made her way back into the living room/kitchen in search of food.
